About Sally McFarlane
Sally is a dual-qualified lawyer (Solicitor of the Senior Courts of England and Wales and admitted as a solicitor in both New South Wales and Western Australia). A Member of the UK Employment Lawyers Association, Sally has been practicing employment law since qualifying in the UK in 1997. Working from offices in Morzine in the French Alps, Sally is registered as a lawyer in France with the Barreau of Thonon-Les-Bains and spends time in London with clients on a bi-monthly basis (and more frequently when required) to give one-on-one support.
Prior to setting up her own practice in 2005 in France, Sally worked in the London employment teams of Kennedys and Stephenson Harwood and was subsequently a senior associate with a leading Australian law firm, Allens Arthur Robinson first in Sydney and then Perth, where she headed up the employment department.
Sally provides clients with tailored legal and HR advice at a senior level essentially providing support as the client’s own in-house counsel and strategic HR adviser.
